What it pays

Mercor says that once your referral begins billable work, you earn 20% of what they earn, counting hourly pay and bonuses.

The cap and the payout days

On hourly contracts the cap is 4x the hourly rate of the referred person's first accepted offer. Referral earnings are released twice a week, on Wednesdays and Fridays at 12:00 PM PST.

Against the others

Handshake AI is the only other platform read that pays a share: 10% of the referred contractor's rate on their first project, capped at 40 hours per referral.
