About AI Data Referral
A small desk that reads the referral terms AI training and expert platforms publish for their contributors, and runs a referral programme of its own for introductions to companies whose data it brokers.
Why it is here
Referral terms live in help-centre articles and programme rules, and the amount is often less important than the hours, earnings or consultation that must come first. Reading every page against the same six questions puts those conditions side by side.
Meant for
Contributors, annotators and subject experts in the US and UK comparing what platforms pay for a referral, and people with business contacts who want to know what introducing a company is worth.
What it offers
Start with the quote form: it answers one question, "ai data referral program", on the page, with no account needed. Next come 6 guides on nearby questions. Then the data (figures, and how they were made) and the sources, every one linked.
- Mercor referral: 20% of what your referral earns, capped: The Mercor referral programme in Mercor's own words: 20% of the referred person's hourly pay and bonuses, a cap of 4x their first hourly rate, paid twice a week.
- micro1 referral: up to $3,000 per placement, after 10 hours: The micro1 referral programme from its own pages: up to $3,000 for a successful placement, released after 10 hours of work, open to anyone and paid to a wallet.
- AI trainer referral bonus: the flat-sum programmes: The AI trainer referral bonus at clickworker, Respondent, OnFrontiers and micro1: what each fixed bonus is, what the person you refer must do first, and any limit.
- Referral income tax UK: the GOV.UK thresholds quoted: Referral income tax in the UK: the trading allowance, the Self Assessment trigger, the Personal Allowance and the Class 4 National Insurance threshold, from GOV.UK.
- Referral bonus 1099: the IRS threshold and the self-employment rates: A referral bonus and the 1099: the IRS reporting threshold of $2,000 for tax years after 2025, the 15.3% self-employment tax rate and the 0.9% Additional Medicare Tax.
- Can ICAEW firms keep a referral fee for introducing a client to AI buyers?: Yes, with the client's consent first. ICAEW's consent rule and the introduction fees AI data buyers publish on their own pages, each dated.
Where it stops
- We never post a platform's referral link or earn anything from one.
- We never present a referral payment as a reliable income.
- We never charge to join our own programme, and never pay on an equity deal.
- We never estimate a platform's bonus where its own page states none.
Accountability

Questions
Use Contact or write to enquiries@aidatareferral.com. The legal side is on Terms and Privacy.
The platforms in the table do not pay to be listed and none of them is our partner; we earn nothing from their referral links. Our own programme pays a referrer 15% of our fee on a deal with a company they introduced, which is not a promise of earnings: an introduction may never become a deal. Joining costs nothing, and no share is ever paid on an equity or SPV deal. If you introduce someone to us, tell them we may pay you for it. The tax figures are quoted from GOV.UK and the IRS and are not tax advice.
